What this website does not do

The site is entirely static. Specifically:

  • No cookies. None are set at all, not even strictly necessary ones.
  • No tracking or analytics. No statistics services are embedded.
  • No third-party content. All fonts, images and stylesheets are served from our own domain. There are no connections to Google Fonts, CDNs or social networks — visiting this site transmits no data to any third party.
  • No forms. No data is submitted through the site.

This is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Server log files

This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) using Cloudflare Pages. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technically necessary access data as a processor — in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the resource requested, the referrer and the browser identifier.

This processing is necessary to deliver the site and operate it securely. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, error-free operation).

Transfer to the USA. Cloudflare is a US company, so processing outside the EU cannot be excluded. The transfer is based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 (2)(c) GDPR together with Cloudflare's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Processing agreement still to be confirmed. A search of the aidecide, boardcompanions and it_infrastructure records on 2026-07-22 found no filed data processing agreement with Cloudflare — there are DPAs on file for Hetzner, Gandi, INWX, Migadu, Brevo, Zoom, GCP and Anthropic, but none for Cloudflare. The claim that an agreement is in place has therefore been removed from the body text rather than asserted without evidence.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact the controller named above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Bavaria this is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Ansbach.
